Boracay graduation trip with friends
We went on 28-30 May 2014, 3Days 2Night trip. Boracay is a very beautiful place to go, especially with your love ones!! I love the beach and the sea there, very clean and there are a lot of sport activities. It is not very cheap but it's worth the price playing there. Our trip is kind of short but we still enjoyed our journey overall.
Everyone meet up at Changi Airport around 8am to fly off to Boracay Kalibo Airport. The total travelling time from Singapore to Boracay (hotel/apartment) took 6 hours, so be mentally prepared you will be a little tired. We are young so it's not a problem for us all!
Hi~~I am Cindy, the tour guide of the trip.
The journey from Singapore to Boracay is around 3 hours 40 mins. The time in Boracay is exactly same with Singapore. There are no time differences. Arrived Kalibo Airport and took a group photo.
Once you arrive the airport you can search for brochure or maps to have a look if you need more information on where to travel and visit. In order to get to Boracay Island, we need to buy bus/van tickets to travel from Airport to
Caticlan Jetty Port. It will takes 1 hour 30mins to 2 hours to travel from Kalibo Aiport to Caticlan Jetty. There are some booths outside the airport and you can try to bargain the prices with different companies such as Kiata or South West tour. Normally it will be 250 pesos per pax for one way trip but you can try to bargain and get 200 pesos each.
We use Kiata company which has a very good service. But for us we have 13 person in total so we got an great offer for two way trip that cost total 10375 pessos. Everything is included and it is much more convenient for us as a group, that is inclusive of van to Jetty port, boat transfer from Jetty port to Boracay Island and van transfer from Boracay port to the hotel. 12 of us are inclusive of terminal and environment fees. The company gave us an offer which is 12 person they can give 1 person free but it excludes the 100 pessos terminal fee and 75 pessos environmental and admission fee which need to be paid at the Jetty on arrival. We paid a total of 7,975 pessos to the company and pay the balance 2,400 pessos to the driver they pick us up from hotel and head back to the airport. A receipt will be given to you, keep it and don't lose it. Don't forget to take your drivers telephone number so that you can contact them.
It is cheaper if you take the two way trip because if you take one way trip, they will only send you to the Jetty and everything you need to settle by yourself once you arrive at the Jetty. You will need to pay
- Van/Bus ticket from Airport to Jetty: 200-250 pesos one way trip
- Banca or pump boat ticket (10-15mins from Jetty to Boracay Island) : 25 pesos (daytime) / 35 pesos (night time)
- Environmental Fee: 75 pesos (1 time payment upon arrival)
- Caticlan Terminal Fee: 100 pesos upon arrival and another 100 pesos upon departure
- From Port to your Hotel: you need to take a Tricycle or Multi-cab which will cost 100 pesos per trip each person

13 of us squeeze in a Van for 1 hour 30minutes to reach Caticlan Jetty Port.
10-15minutes heading to Boracay Island
Reach Boracay Island
Walk to our Multi-cab to go to Hotel
The company arranged a guy (wearing yellow t-shirt) to bring us from Kalibo Airport all the way to our Hotel in Boracay Island.
Waiting for our Multi-cab to be arrange for us to ride.
This is our Multi-cab, it is kinda squeezy for 13 of us but nevermind we are all young!!! We love each other and squeeze!!!! Haha ^^ It's 15minutes ride to our hotel.
Total cost for both villas is 4521.85Php and it's SGD129.20 each for 2 days.
Delicious food!! Yummy.... I remember it's not expensive and the price is affordable.
Took a photo while waiting for our shuttle van to arrive.
DAY 2
Our trip is very short so we only have the second day to play and the third day we need to head to airport immediately after check out. Lucky there's no rain when we go there.
Before I went to Boracay, I have already contact a girl name Rizan (girl who wore white t-shirt) who is our tourguide for sport activities. We went to meet her and took a tuktuk to the beach.
Activities we went on Day 2.

Our beautiful and comfy villas!
We've booked two villas that are a three bedroom private villa which includes a super comfortable living room, huge kitchen and the balcony to see the beautiful view outside.
When we reach our villas, it's around 6pm and we put our luggage in our rooms and took the apartment shuttle van service out to have dinner at Dmall budget mart.
Delicious food!! Yummy.... I remember it's not expensive and the price is affordable.
After dinner, we walk around and the environment there is so nice. Boracay is a very romantic place to go with your partner, I will definitely go back to there with my lover next time! Haha...
Want to dance? There's a club and you can go party like crazy..Took a photo while waiting for our shuttle van to arrive.

The weather is kinda hot and sunny when we ride on our ATV. But we all had fun riding it!
Arrive Ocean Tower View Point, need to climb up the stairs to see the view from top.
After seeing the view, we head back to the place to park our ATV. Then we head to the Musuem, playing around, posing taking photos.
Next, we take a van and head to the beach to play our sport activities~~~ Yoooho...so excited!!
Walk in a small alley heading to the beach.Look at the sea water, so clear and blue~~~ The sands is so white too!!!!
On boat and wait for our turn for parasailing...
Enjoying my life~
Parasailing Time!!
They drop us in the water and pull us back up to the boat.
Before Flying Fish start, they look so happy and energetic.
I was on the speed boat, taking photo's and videos...The boat is super fast and in order to make the flying fish to fly, the person who control the boat need to turn the stering left and right, the friction is so strong, even I'm on the boat I feel like flying out. Haha~
After Flying fish, they are so tired and their energy level drop 35%. Haha...it is very tiring grabbing the strips so that they do not drop off into the sea.
After this tiring activities, we need to eat to recharge ourselves.
The food is all super yummy!!!!
Look!!! The sea water is so crystal clear....
Crystal Cove, can take lots of photo's there.
There are two holes, and this is one of it.
Very steep and slippery, so be careful~
Best trip ever!!! Had lots of fun with my uni friends~
Next, head to play Helmit Diving!!!
Everybody is so nervous when going down into the sea.
Heart beating super fast...
We are very dissapointed witht the cd given to us, the resolution is very poor and I told Rizan about it. She asked the Helmet diving company only they realise that their camera has some problem. Make sure that if you go for helmet diving you need to mention about the clarity of the pictures and video. It is very memorable and a unique experience.
A lot of fish down there~~~~swimming happily! Once we go down the sea, we need to hold our helmet and there will be pressure so you need to blow your nose so that your ears are not so painful. Don't worry the water will not go inside your helmet because there are air going through the tube. Of course, you don't bend your helmet downwards if not the water will go into the helmet and you can't breathe..Just relax and go down, do not panic~ When you are inside the sea, you feel like flying in the sea. A great experience!! It was fun ^^
End of our sport activities! Head back to our Villa and have a shower, chill a while then head out for dinner again.
Want to drink some alcohol?
My friends want to try the eggs and they bought it. Look at the left picture below, he is thinking, "are you sure?" haha, the egg look kind of gross. After eating it, we asked both of them "how does it taste like?" they seems fine eating it and feel like eating normal food. They are so daring!!!DAY 3
After checking out, we head straight back to the Boracay jetty heading back to Caticlan jetty, then take a van back to the Kalibo airport. The journey is so long~ A short and memorable trip!
The dried mango snacks is very very nice! Must buy, I don't really like but when I am heading back to Singapore I bought one packet in airport and open it on the plane. So yummy! and I regret that I never buy more.
