Time to travel to another destination again! It's Bangkok time~
But before I fly to Bangkok, me and my friend went to a cafe called Maison Ikkoku in Singapore to have our brunch that has a nice environment with friendly staffs and of course delicious food.
Variety of cakes for desserts. There will always be space for desserts!
This is what we had for our brunch, Eggs Benedict & Break of Dawn
The price is affordable and the place is great to have some food to eat, chitchatting and catching up with friends. Look at what we've ordered, yummy isn't it? I am so greedy by ordering this big plate of food and when I start eating it, I can't even finish the huge portion and only ate 40% of it. Oops..but I love it!

DAY 1
Flying off to Bangkok from Changi Airport Terminal 2, walking around in the airport and realized that there's a corner that has a sunflower garden, a place for us to watch movie and also play online games. Tada!!! Can see many aeroplanes outsides too~
This is my 3rd revisit to Bangkok spending one week over there. A super relax holiday, doing massage, watching movies, shopping and eat as much as I can. Bangkok is my shopping heaven! Me and my friend went to visit a few nice places in Bangkok and let me share it with you all.
The first thing to do when we touch down at Suvarnabhumi Airport is to get our DTAC Happy Tourist SIM Card which only cost 299THB for 7 days free 3G and some credits to call. You can get it at the 2nd Floor, Gate 7. Pass them your passport, handphone and money to get it done.
Next, go to the Public taxi stand which is located on Level 1 (Ground Level), near entrances 3, 4, 7 and 8 to cab to hotel. Remember! the taxi that you are on should be a metered taxi, because there will be a lot of taxi drivers that never use meter and charge you a ridiculous price which you don't even know and think that it is cheap. Once you are in the taxi they will press a button to run their meter and it will start from 35 baht and it will rise slowly by distance and time past. The taxi fare will be charge by metered taxi fare plus 50 baht airport surcharge and expressway fees (that will cost around 75 baht).
A reminder for everyone, if you have 3-4 person, it's better that you take a metered cab because if you take BTS it will be more expensive than you cabbing.
We stayed at Sunreno Serviced Apartment which is just opposite Asiatique that is so convenient to walk over just across the road. The apartment is cheap and nice!! Booked through Booking.com by reserving the apartment and make the payment on arrival. Recommend you all to stay there, good service and worth the price.
If you are in Bangkok, Asiatique is a beautiful place that you MUST go!
There are variety of restaurants, shops and massage places.
There are variety of restaurants, shops and massage places.
Asiatique operating hours is 5pm-12am, consider as a night market but a little pricy. It is located at the Chareunkrung Road by the Chao Praya River. A lot of things to see and buy. You are able to watch the famous cabaret show and thai boxing show there.
The image below shows you how to get there.
Get off the sky train at Saphan Taksin station,
take exit 2, & then take shutter boat for around 15mins to reach Asiatique. (Boat operate tills 2300 daily)This Thai Dessert is called Kha-nom-Krok which only cost 40 Baht = Rm4.
It's my favourite dessert~Yummy....
Saw this cartoon and took a picture with it, and only realized that this cartoon is the thailand famous peanut brand cartoon. Never eat the peanut before and i went to bought some, quite nice~
Also, there's a place for couples to write their name and clip it there as memories being there together, however I don't have boyfriend so I did none..haha^^
DAY 2
On Sunday morning, I went to Chatuchak Market (weekend market) to shop and buy a lot of things there. It is the cheapest place you can get to buy your clothes, bag and souveniers. There are a lot of things to see, we spend a whole day walking around Chatuchak until my leg hurts but I still continue shopping. You know la, girls love to shop and buy~ especially when its cheap.
This are the food you can get at Chatuchak, phad thai, tomyam soup, quil eggs, meatballs, garlic bread, coconut ice cream, pork meat, thai milk tea, coconut water, kebab and many more~
Weekend market is always crowded with people..lots of things to see and buy~
always be careful with your belongings, because there might have pickpockets. Recommend you to put your money is 2 wallets, just in case... :p
Chatuchak Market
Get there: SkyTrain to (N8) Mo Chit Station (Sukhumvit Line),
Take exit 1 and walk straight 100m to Chatuchak Park on your right.
MRT Chatuchak Park station or Kamphaeng Phet station.
After shopping for the whole day, it's time to recharge ourselves with food, dinner time! We got into a cab and the driver recommend us to this Joomba Restaurant and said it's number one seafood in Asia. The food is so so only and it's pricy. If you are on budget style, it's better that you don't listen to their opinion because the reason they recommend you there is because they can get some commission. Lesson learnt~ Me and my friend just ordered a pineapple fried rice and tomyum soup and it costs 800 baht, RM80. Expensive lo, can eat many other food outside.
We took a tuk tuk back to apartment after dinner.
Then, we went for supper again... second round, nearby the apartment there's some street food.
It only cost 40Baht each, phad thai and meat ball noodle. Right opposite Asiatique,
just beside the main road.
DAY 3
Wake up for breakfast lo~ walk nearby the apartment searching for food in the back alley.
Do you dare to eat street food? I dare!! except insects~haha...
Tried this but it's too sweet, after eating a few pieces I can't finish it all.
It's 40Baht but I don't remember what it's called~
Walking around to places and saw a big Buddha lying down~
Grab an ice cream because the weather is too hot~
After having our breakfast, my friend suggest that we walk around looking at the environment and explore things, initally I was like OK! but after walking for so long, I asked "Where are we going?" with no aim walking because my leg hurts~~~he likes to walk and see things, but I was like "can we go to some shopping mall instead? :P" after walking for a while, we finally cab over to SIAM Paragon. Feel bad but I don't really walk a lot...oops~
Yooohoo...reached shopping mall with air-con~haha(^-^)
Heard that this shop is very popular in Melbourne, tried it and love it!! Must try~
Located in Siam Paragon
Siam Center is just beside to Siam Paragon, walk over and search for Mr. Jones & Orphanage cafe.
Before I go to Bangkok, I already research about this cafe and wanted to eat some desserts there but in Bangkok there's too much food on the street and I can't resist from buying it to eat and in the end I am too full for desserts. Never get to eat at Mr. Jones cafe~ Too bad, only can see see look look..
Mr. Jones & Orphanage cafe
3rd Floor at Siam Center (Siam BTS)
Let's have a look at this picture below... Guess where is this place?
I thought it was the hotel lobby at first but it is the cinema level, places for you to purchase your movie tickets with a lot of sofa for you to seat while waiting for the movie to start.
We had too much time and randomly walk to the cinema level at Siam Paragon and catch a movie that cost 500 Baht each, kinda expensive but it's in 4D... Went inside and sit on the moving chair with wind and water spray to our face, super "suaku"...Had fun watching Hunger Games at Bangkok.
Great experience~
After movie, took a photo with the beautiful x'mas tree and then walk searching for foot massage~ The foot massage for an hour is usually charge 300Baht, it is actually consider kinda expensive, other places like Khao San Road which will be mentioned later on will be so much cheaper than other places.
Walk for a whole day, it's time to chillax!
A never ending day, we head to Chinatown for dinner at T&K Seafood Restaurant eating beside the road. This is a famous place to eat seafood and the price is reasonable and the food is awesome! There's a lot of tourist purposely went there to eat like us~ Sometimes there's a huge crowd waiting for places to be seated, it will take some time if there are a lot of people. Good things need to wait and so other people will wait for it~ The dishes is served quickly and two of us ordered too much for dinner! It only cost 800Baht!!! cheap cheap ~

DAY 5
We went to try this, it's really an unique experience. You just need to pay for 90Baht for spending 1 hour 15 minutes inside, by seeing nothing but super dark that you can't even see a single thing. It's an experience for you to know that how those unfortunate people who can't see the beautiful world, knowing how blind people live their life, it's not easy because they need to use their imagination, sense of hearing, smelling, touching and tasting to know what's going on. We are guided by a guy using our walking stick and after touring inside, guessing this and that, we found out that our tour guide is partially blind 5 years ago.
It has a huge effect on him and it's not easy to walk out from the misery but we are glad to heard from him that he's good now, a huge CLAP for him! Really not easy~Using the walking stick inside is kinda tiring because it's so dark inside and we need to keep on thinking what's gonna happen next. You should go and try it~
Dinner time~ My friend looking at the menu seriously thinking what to order, again~
He ordered overload until we ate until soooo full~
Pomelo salad, crab, pandan chicken and duck..
Walked over to Central World
and took a lot of photo's with the christmas tree and Snoopy's!
